Forest Plan Changes

The changes from the 1997 Forest Plan to the 2008 Forest Plan are shown in two documents:

1. The first document shows the changes made between the 1997 Forest Plan and the 2006 Proposed Forest Plan that accompanied the Draft EIS (in “track-changes”).
2. The second document shows the changes made between the 2006 Proposed Forest Plan and the 2008 Amended Forest Plan (in “track-changes”).

These two versions capture the vast majority of the changes made during the development of the amended Forest Plan, but the process is not perfect and there may be some omissions (i.e., a small number of changes may not appear as changes). Reviewers interested in particular passages may want to double-check the actual documents (see below links). Note also that in some cases text moved from one location to another within the same section appears as deleted in one location and inserted, or new, in the other.
